Souzão, also known as Vinhão, is a red grape hailing from Portugal’s Northern Minho region. Whilst producing wines almost black in colour, the structure and flavour is nice and juicy with a good level of acidity and light-medium body. In true Portuguese style, Souzão/Vinhão is a great match with grilled sardines.
